John Constantine’s review published on Letterboxd:
A gloriously fun movie that gets the joy of creativity, even when it only achieves mediocre (at best) results. ED WOOD is the true king of this type of movie (written by Scott Alexander and Larry Karasewski, who wrote this film as well), but it is a very entertaining variation on this same theme. Eddie Murphy is back in his best performance in decades, and he really delivers! His Rudy Ray Moore is an delicious mix or desperation, anger, and positivity that is absolutely compelling to watch.
