Streets of Fire 1984
Equal parts Purple Rain, Scott Pilgrim, and Buckaroo Banzai, with sets borrowed from Blade Runner and the 1989 Batman, it meshes the motorcycle gangs and style of the 1950s with the 1980s mix of neon pop and dystopian malaise. Best enjoyed loud.
