God this film is sexy! Elizabeth Debicki looks so good on a billion dollar yacht. And it’s so good to witness anything (let alone something that looks this good) on a big screen for the first time in months!!! Honestly, once this got going and I was beginning to understand what was going on, it got better and better and by the end I had a massive smile on my face. I really freakin’ loved it. I already can’t wait for my second and third and forth viewing, I feel like there’s so much more to uncover from this.

I do wish that the sound mixing was a little bit better, there were definitely a handful of times I could barely understand what was being said. And this cast is so good but, I’m sorry, John David Washington’s acting abilities are nowhere near on par with the rest of this cast. Branagh, Pattinson and Debicki run circles around him. I do like him in the role and he’s not terribly bad, per se, but he... could be better. Either way, it’s definitely one of Nolan’s most ambitious films to date and for the most part it all works really well. It is without a doubt going to be on my mind for a very, very long time.
