Film Club #18 (Pick by Evan)
It feels like somebody...wants to sell me something!
-SpongeBob Squarepants
One heck of a vibe movie and a film I admire more than I like it. A beautifully shot reflection of early adulthood in poverty and a free-flowing narrative that just failed to grasp me at any level. Just kinda stared at crazy events and beautifully banal lands, no real care for anything happening on the screen or any characters involved. Minus half a star for Shia LaBeouf's rat tail and his cuck attitude. Dude really is using all that Transformers money to live while he does weird shit.
I don't know man, I've seen this kind of film done better in multiple ways. It's not all that bad, just not for me.
