Midsommar

Midsommar ★★★★★

Surprisingly hilarious yet at the same time beautifully sick and twisted from start to finish, Midsommar sees writer and director Ari Aster proving that Hereditary wasn't just a lucky shot in the dark as well as once again offering one of the best and most uncomfortably disturbing horror films in years, with spectacular cinematography, haunting atmosphere, top-notch pacing, and stellar performances (especially from the lovely Florence Pugh, whose work here is jaw-droppingly good).
