• Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

Who thought it was a good idea to give Ewan McGregor A the Bee gees mullet, you need to go home and rethink your life.

Look let's get the obvious out the way, this isn't very good. In fact it I would say attack of the clones is one of the most messy movie of the last 20 years. Dialogue is a huge issue in this and is so badly written you couldn't expect anything other than subpar performances…

  • Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace

I don't care what anyone says jar jar binks was supposed to be a sith lord, we were robbed I tell you, robbed!

Look here's the truth about the phantom menace, it's not that bad, in fact some of the best star wars moments happen in this movie like the best lightsaber fight in the whole series accompanied by possibly the best track in movie history Duel of the fates. With that said tho this movie does have one…

  • Laggies

"Can we not finger bang in the middle of the street"

Laggies was quite a surprise for me, not only did I think it was kinda fun but it also wasn't serious as I thought it was going to be. Sometimes you just need a nice mild-mannered movie and laggies was that for me at the right time. Now I will have to say this is nothing ground breaking, in fact I'm sure I could name 10 movies with…

  • Tusk

If you ever wanted to see a movie where Johnny Depp will a chrome shotgun and penis nose looks for a man in a human skin walrus suit, then Tusk is the movie for you.

Tusk was probably the A24 movie I was least looking forward to watching and after seeing it I can say my worries were warranted. Tusk is a movie that if done by anyone else could of been absolutely horrifying but in the hands of…

  • Life After Beth

    Life After Beth

" Are you fucking your scarf?" "It's my dead girlfriends leave me alone" is the best joke in this movie.

Life after Beth was a a movie I was really looking forward to, from what I've seen it looks pretty funny with some decent performances, however I'm sad to say that life after Beth is not as good as I was hoping. Sure, there are some really funny moments and performances, both mostly from Mathew gubler but that's just…

  • The Rover

    The Rover

Guess this and Inbetweeners 2 can be put in the category of Australian road trips not going to plan.

the rover is a very tricky film to pinpoint my feelings on. On the one hand will movie has some great performances and mix that with a world that scarily feels close to happening but on the other you have a plot that doesn't really give enough to let those performances shine.

The rover is ok, nothing special in my opinion but I can see people loving this, so give it a go and see what came you land in.

  • Jackass 4.5

    Jackass 4.5

When you think jackass couldn't get any more disgusting, you watch Steve-O drop condoms full of piss on his head 15 times.

Jackass 4.5 is a good fun watch, not as fun as 4 but still a good time. The .5 movies have always been more interesting to watch for me as you see how things are madeand what these guys really go though, but with that you do lose a little bit of the fun.

If you liked jackass 4 you should give this a watch as it's actually an interesting watch, if it's only 4 the making of the opening sequence.

  • Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers

    Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers

Now space jame 2, this is how you do a movie with pop culture references, please take note.

This movie was a lot of fun even for me who wasn't really a fan of the OG the rescue rangers. The way they blend references into the story was done so well, nothing felt forced cough cough space jam 2 cough cough. And I got to mention that sonic cameo/role, one of the funniest jokes I've seen in a movie…

  • Obvious Child

    Obvious Child

A romantic comedy about an abortion, you know if this came out in 2022 it would be a Twitter debate for a solid 2 months, thank god 2014 was more chilled out.

Obvious child is not a bad movie... However, I wasn't really a fan of it. Now everything on a technical level is done well like the performances, story and the way they treat a serious subject like abortion, but if your not a fan of the humour…

  • Firestarter

When a movie is so bad it has you questioning if Stephen king is actually a good writer or if he's just a mediocre writer with some great ideas then you know you have messed up big time.

Not going to be around the bush with this one it was horrible, everything was just done wrong. It somehow feels over through and lazy as hell all at the same time, a real triumph in bad if you ask me.…

  • Our Father

    Our Father

My man has got a lot of birthdays and Christmases to make up for, I dread to think about his credit card bills.

Our father is your typical Netflix documentary interesting story told in a average way. There is nothing inherently wrong with Our father, but the way this documentary is done is just to generic to be anything more then average, still worth a watch for the story itself tho.

  • The Paedophile Hunter

    The Paedophile Hunter

"I have my normal phone and I have my nonce phone" is the only thing I will take away from this movie. This is fine for what it is just a man trapping lots for very creepy guys and calling them out.
