Honestly a classic. I’d seen snippets of it growing up, with the constant replay of it on BBC Four, but never actually sat down and watched it. Till now, and honestly I can’t believe this was made when it was, because for the most part it stands up really well. The stop moition used on Kong for the time is fantastic, and maybe still the best version of The King Kong tale.
