“Dreams Feel Real While We’re In Them.”
The set design, music, narration, and Malcolm McDowells performance are all so beautiful. Everything just comes full circle for the protagonist. This film is a very violent film and quite disturbing, but it’s not violent or disturbing for no reason. Every act of violence happens for a reason and comes right back to bite him. The themes of humanity and balancing good and evil are shown very clearly and well written. Stanley Kubrick is phenomenal.
This is a phenomenal film, and a technical masterpiece when it comes to the visuals and soundtrack. I was engaged in this film the whole time watching it, and when it finished I was speechless leaving the cinema knowing that the ending could be a possibility in the real world. The performances were amazing, and my favourites were Cillian Murphy, Matt Damon, Benny Safdie, and Rami Malek. The plot was interesting and in my opinion well paced, the film felt…
