Jonah Hill and Lauren London have zero chemistry. If you’re going to try and do a “rom com” that is essential for somewhat success. 

The confrontation scenes between the in laws had me laughing. (Lauren’s character and Julia’s character confronting and Ezra and Eddie’s character confronting) It’s so badly written and awkward that I just couldn’t help but laugh. Jonah Hill can’t act unless he has a good script in my opinion. 

The social commentary was definitely present and definitely annoying but it did make for some decently funny jokes sometimes. Julia Louis Dreyfus is easily the standout. It’s a bad script yet she still remains funny to me. 

It’s certainly another disposable Netflix Original.
