Jonathan Bradshaw’s review published on Letterboxd:
A satire about Hitler, what’s not to love eh? The film has a surprisingly emotional backbone, led by two captivating lead performances from Jojo and Elsie. A supporting cast including Sam Rockwell provide good laughs. Taika’s Hitler takes a bit of a backseat and floats between a quasi German and Aussie accent. The films look captures 1940s Germany well. The narrative and tone jump all over the place during the film, but they come together at the films sweet conclusion.
