The amount of fun I was having while watching was directly proportional to the amount of fun Jake Gyllenhaal appeared to be having at that point, i.e. Not as much as I wanted to be having in the first half when he's all wooden, and a lot in the second half when he's hamming it up to the extreme and doing Mysterio things.
I don't usually care, but stick around for the mid-credits scene if you enjoy the Sam Raimi Spider-Mans. It's good.
