Everything Everywhere All at Once

Everything Everywhere All at Once

Enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Part of it feels like The Matrix for people who like Smosh videos and laser cat calendars but I also see a Shaun of the Dead-type “throw it on in the background” classic in it, too. Twee and didactic final reel veers way too far into “we’re just meat sacks on a spinning rock” territory for my taste but it possesses a genuine sweetness that I found moving at times. Turning into a softie these days. Cast is extremely likable and it does not feel like 2+ hours.
