Jordan Spencer’s review published on Letterboxd:
What a way to spend a day in quarantine. Taking only the intermissions as brief breaks, to move from espresso to apple brandy (no slivovitz on hand), I felt completely inside of the scenes, beyond looking through a window. Estike's eyes-closed moment was one of the most beautiful scenes I've ever seen, with perfect narration. The cows in the opening, every slow moment with the doctor, the owl, the horses... Tarr makes it seem like these scenes aren't staged but he has just come across them naturally. Really a stunning masterwork deserving of all praise.
