I can guarantee this is not the movie Andy saw. He watched the superior animated straight to video Buzz Lightyear Of Star Command (2000).
The craft at play here is undeniable, but I feel like this really wanted to be a video game and certainly doesn’t earn its theatrical. I would have played it.

Peele’s my favorite director mixing subtext with comedy. And I gotta say. I like this more than His first film.
He elevates his craft to the next level with edge of your seat setpieces, visuals alien to horror until this point, and the most likable family in horror since Poltergeist. All set in the backdrop of the sunniest, safest, most vibrant town in America.
But nothing compares to that cold open. It’s an all timer.…
