Josh Gibbs’s review published on Letterboxd:
So can I be a proper letterboxer now, or do I still need to watch Come and See first?
Wonderfully, unabashedly weird. David Byrne is an absolute performer and it's impossible to not be charmed by his relentless energy and immense commitment to putting on a great show. He constantly heightens the energy and singles himself out, outdoing his own weirdness not as an attempt to draw attention to himself, but to put the audience in absolute optimum position for enjoying the shoulder bopping belters generously provided by the band. Make no mistake, this is about as collaborative as live music gets. Such a baller move to use bass as the groundwork for a ballad, and by extension, the entire show. There is water at the bottom of the ocean.
