Joshua D Razo’s review published on Letterboxd:
Carey Mulligan from 30 feet.
My enjoyment of this film hinges on Mulligan who over delivers on huge expectations. With some distance, I dock PYW for how goddamn white it is. It really undercuts the argument of the film (yes I know that Sam Richardson is in it for like 10 seconds).
The middle happy part of the movie doesn’t work for me all that much. I get why it’s there but I just wouldn’t let Bo Burnham hit it. 3.5 stars
