    Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

How do I know I’m not gonna mess it up again?
    β€” You won’t.
Right. It's a leap of faith

The question of why do they keep rebooting Spider-man is simple. In 2014, Spider-man merch brought in 1.3 billion dollars while Avengers brought in 435 million. Those numbers are probably a lot closer now but Spider-man is one of the biggest brands despite people hating spiders.
Since 2001 when I started reading Ultimate Spider-man, I have loved the character and…

    The Kindergarten Teacher

    Anna, get up
Remember, loneliness is still time spent
    With the world
Here's the room with everyone in it
Your dead friends passing though you
    Like wind
    Through a wind chime
    Don't be afraid, Anna
The end of the road is already so far ahead

    Star Wars: The Force Awakens

It has been very interesting revisiting the series of Star Wars for the first time in years these passed couple of months. Initially I loved TFA but when rewatching it, I couldn't get as into it because other…

A benchmark in cinema for what storytelling can be.
Striking violence from solemn men. Dark deeds committed by defenders of the weak.
Fields of flowers and rain covered streets are the backdrop for two strangers finding themselves in one another.

Even from just the influences I could notice (Star Wars, Eastwood Era Westerns) this movies impact is incredible.

The first 30 minutes were not as engaging as I remember and even boring upon rewatching.

However, once on Sakaar the pace quickens and the fun just doesn't stop. Did not feel anything for Hela, either good or bad, but villains have always been Marvel's undoing.

Astounding the layers Jordan Peele weaves into this 'horror' movie.
I was anxious about seeing this movie because I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to horror.

In praise of the brilliant movie:
I've seen people say not to overthink this movie and to just enjoy it but that is such a disservice to what is packed in. This is one of the funniest movies I've seen in awhile and all the characters are thoroughly enjoyable.

    The way…
