Josh Browning’s review published on Letterboxd:
This film contains one of the best and creepiest opening sequences ever put on film. Until this re-watch I really didn't give score too much attention but it is pretty fantastic and fits the film so well. The acting here is pretty bad but it is to expect from 80s horror, but it still makes the re-make look like a steamy pile of shit! Plus, any movie with a montage of setting up booby traps is hard to dislike.
