Picked up the collectors edition Blu Ray recently with the black and white version of the the film, and I have to say I LOVE this version. I really makes the movie even creepier. I really have developed a liking to this Stephen King adaptation, I love the crazy Christian lady, and the constant struggle with her. This is another example of people being scarier than the monsters. The ending is just so mind blowing (pun intended). I would suggest if you give this a re-watch go for the black and white version, it really gives the film a 50's horror movie feel.
