This was a very manly kind of movie! Not in the toxic way, where it was very misogynistic- but it was very spirit animal type of thing.

It wasn’t really my cup of tea, and the extreme violence was really a turn off for me- but I can see & justify how it was a large part of this story.

The Northman had the same vibe as Macbeth & The Green Knight all about some twisted, evil prophecy. Alexander Skarsgård was the perfect role…

    House of Gucci

In summary: The House of Gucci is 3 hours of cultural appropriation. Bruh like literally I’m not sure what ethnicities any of those actors actually are but- shouldn’t they have casted like actual Italians? Who definitely spoke Italian?!

Hot take: I liked this sequel way more than the first one.. Before Sunset did not drag in the same way, that I felt Before Sunrise did. This storyline felt more believable, and was a lot smoother- in my opinion.

What’s the vibe of this?? From the trailer I got the impression that this was a fun carnival movie- but it turned out to be much more than that! This was a classic Del Toro, it was eerie and spooky with always a twist.

The expectations were high coming from The Shape of Water, so I was a little let down that it wasn’t as amazing. Bradley Cooper was a very interesting choice for him. He was charming yet dirty LOL.
