Mulholland Drive ★★★★½

Not to be derogatory to anybody confused by this film, but I find it genuinely difficult to comprehend not understanding Mulholland Drive because viewing Lynch work is so natural that even when a strand does not connect directly to any kind of overarching plot, the film can be 'felt' and directly understood even if not explained. My reasoning for the confusion and written analyses of many admirable viewers and critics is quite possibly solely because so many narrative films make similar logical leaps as Lynch, explaining why, as the film becomes more naturally 'filmic' in nature and delineates, people try to make more sense of it in their traditional way (which Lynch purposefully attempts to shun, even if only just succeeding).
