A slow-burn, grotesque and beautiful take on a classic horror movie. It elevates Argento's picture from an exercise into atmosphere to a thought-provoking statement on art, war and evil. There's a lot to unpack and a lot to think about, that's why I'm choosing not to talk about its themes in here right now.
