    I admire the subtle ambition of this particular film...

    However it was quite uneven in its pace and it left a taste in my mouth which presented its ambivalence to the fullest extent in the final minutes of the film; and there was a noticeable confusion as to what exactly Fennell was attempting to convey through Carey Mulligan’s (quite outstanding) performance and the conflicting vision of Bo Burnham’s character.

    Stunning camera movements, excellent dialogue, though-provoking symbolism, and a few twists and turns that keeps one engaged throughout the runtime of the film.

    Panic Room is a magnificent showcase for Fincher’s directorial talent, featuring swift, clean camera movements and thoroughly unique shot choices and structure. This film features solid performances from Jodie Foster, Forrest Whitaker, and a fitting early acting credit from Kristen Stewart. Howard Shore’s score was apt for the circumstances, although Koepp’s screenplay, in terms of emotional complexity, had me left wanting.
