    Formulaic and unique in the worst ways. Feels like an homage to all the shitty horror sequels of yesteryear. Almost everything that made the 2018 installment great is gone, and even the stuff that could’ve been decent is poorly executed.

    I love movies that aren’t afraid to choose fun over exposition, especially with the glut of over-serious superhero pics (heroes saving the world are less believable to me now than the powers they have, look at the world we live in!). Sometimes you just want to watch Tom Hardy bro out with frickin’ Venom for 90 minutes. Why not!

    Whatever level of CGI they used on Woody Harrelson, it wasn’t noticeable. His face on the poster looks fake as hell but somehow his face in the movie is 100x more realistic???
