Simply perfect. The editing following Antony's point of view was certainly what made The Father one of the best films of the season, creating a deeply immersive cinematic experience incredibly well executed thanks to a beautifully adapted screenplay and a triumphant performance by one of the greatest actors alive.
It's just beautiful when you can capture the emotion of a scene even when the characters are in total silence. the disciplined character development work is what makes minari such a powerfull family drama. The focus on the characters may have somewhat disrupted the narrative course but everything fall into place at the deeply touching ending.
Highlights: *Youn Yuh-Jung (the gramma) is so far my favorite supporting actress of the season
