Jonathan White’s review published on Letterboxd:
A fine enough Friday night popcorn actioner, but Taika Waititi's (brilliant) What We Do In the Shadows character comedy seemed like it was grafted onto a run of the mill comic book actioner whose fight scenes were far too protracted, and story arc far too thin.
To me, anyway.
Edit: just read that Cate Blanchett wore a motion capture suit because, apparently, her character was supposed to be able to morph. Didn't see much morphing ( aside from head gear ), but saw a lot of hips and gams that a Marvel film would probably require that maybe a great actress didn't have.
Docking it a star for that.
