• A Quiet Place

    A Quiet Place

Plot holes and leaps in logic aside, this is an engaging film mostly because of the unique premise and the cast.

  • 12 Angry Men

    12 Angry Men

First time watching this absolute classic, and it more than lived up to its reputation. Builds intrigue and gives answers throughout and remains incredibly interesting even as the whole thing takes place in only one room. So good, a new favorite.

  • Psycho

An absolute classic. The shower scene is in the top two most famous movie scenes of all time (and it ain’t two). Hitchcock is just a masterful filmmaker.

  • Batman: Under the Red Hood

    Batman: Under the Red Hood

One of my favorite DC animated movies. Sooooo good and actually very emotional.

  • Platoon

An engaging war film that may not be as deep as other films of the genre, but somewhat makes up for its lack of depth with good performances across the board and memorable sequences.

  • Raising Arizona

    Raising Arizona

A very funny film that proved early on that the Coen Brothers could craft an interesting story and pair it with quirky characters.

  • Hereditary

This will go down as one of the greatest horror movies of all time, mark my words. An absolutely chilling film that slowly builds tension before a bonkers third act that will keep you up at night. Toni Collette gives an all-time great performance.

  • Halloween

A rare horror sequel that’s able to (somewhat) live up to the original. Anchored by Jamie Lee Curtis, this is a very solid continuation of the original Halloween.

  • Halloween

The best slasher film I’ve seen and it’s not close. John Carpenter knows how to direct a scary movie. The score tho!!

  • 28 Days Later

    28 Days Later

A fun zombie that has a good story but looks absolutely atrocious. That’s really all I have to say.

  • The Hangover

    The Hangover

This is a bro movie for you and all of your bros

  • Annabelle: Creation

    Annabelle: Creation

I was thoroughly engaged, which is a huge step up from the first Annabelle film.
