that vape ruined the whole aesthetic of the movie.

    "pull me out!"

people are so obsessed with this techno-thriller-fleshy-cyberpunk aesthetic and i get it, it's fucking amazing. possessor is full of iconic scenes, it's a really cool sci-fi movie. i know some people are like overanalyzing this thing big time, but i just enjoyed the gore and that's it.

"today is not a good day."

i needed to rewatch this movie, i just couldn't get it out of my head and i've been obsessed with it for the last couple months now. this is a masterpiece, and i love it so much. sound of metal changed my life, it's very beautiful and i'll always keep it close to my heart.

    beautiful screenplay and masterful performances.

    "why am i so pretty?"

every single actor in here did an outstanding job, kingsley ben-adir is definitely getting nominated for best actor. it took me a while to fully appreciate this film, eventually the acting and the chemistry between the characters made me love this quite a lot.

this has to be the best depiction of trauma, literally.

    "it's okay joe, it's okay."

honestly, this was by far my favorite joaquin phoenix performance. the overwhelming feeling of exhaustion, when the past and the present are painfully real. this movie shows a lot by not showing anything at all, literally how traumas and scars work.

what is real doesn't matter if what isn't real doesn't either. what do we want? would that save us? we can't run away from our own mind when that's the only thing that gives us a reason to live.

    "let's go. it's a beautiful day."
