"What's the first thing an actor learns? 'The show must go on!' Come rain, come shine, come snow, come sleet, the show MUST go on!"

I think I watched this a lot when I was a child but I remembered like two moments. So I'm counting this as an oddly nostalgic new watch!

Singin’ in the Rain is everything delightful about the musicals of days gone by. It's colorful, full of magnificent stunts and and atmosphere of pure joy. Long sequences of singing and dancing are sprinkled into a story that is extraordinarily funny and it left me entertained from beginning to end. Even in scenes that were a tad too long I couldn't help but laugh and enjoy myself in every scene. Whether it was amazing comedic storytelling or a visual display of wonder and music, there's not a single part that I found dull. Gene Kelly and the rest of the phenomenal cast are a revelation! It's pure joy in a bottle. I haven't smiled this much in a very long time.
