The soundtrack to this is just really not my thing but the rest of the film makes up for it. Re watched it, but this time with my family who loved it a lot, especially because they are big Allison Janney fans (West Wing is constantly playing in our house) and she shells it in her limited screen time, especially the Ultra sound scene. I feel like the parent dynamic and rules and responsibilities enforced on Juno between J.K. Simmons and Alison Janney is honestly the definition of perfect (Or fairly close to perfect). They allow Juno to take responsibility for her actions, don’t shame her in doing so and are there for important moments in her pregnancy. The balance between not being over protective but being a presence in their children’s childhood is is wonderfully captured on screen.
