  • Moneyball

    Moneyball

    ★★★★½

Jonah Hill is such an unappreciated actor by many people. He has so many diverse roles and is fantastic in all of them including this and I look forward to soon watching his directorial debut mid90's when I feel it's the right time to finally see it. One of my favourite people in cinema definitely and so is Brad Pitt!

  • Good Will Hunting

    Good Will Hunting

    ★★★★½

A fantastic feel good story which is executed brilliantly because of the performances by Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and especially the late Robin Williams.

Went in with no/zero expectations and in return got a film that is extremely beautiful and something I will watch very often in the future.

  • The Gentlemen

    The Gentlemen

    ★★★★½

Guy Ritchie's 2019 crime film 'The Gentlemen' is the first of his I have seen and I think it is fantastic due to to the slick interlinked scenes which showcase impressive camera work and the rapid fire style of editing is different to anything I have witnessed before in my experience of cinema. This is put in motion thanks to the electrifying performances delivered by Colin Farrell and Hugh Grant, who presents himself in a reinvigorated role in retrospect of…

  • A Clockwork Orange

    A Clockwork Orange

    ★★★★½

Tough watch at times but a good watch and so glad I have finally watched the film many consider the magnum opus of Kubrick. I personally prefer Dr Strangelove and maybe FMJ over this but what is your favourite Kubrick film?

  • Ocean's Eleven

    Ocean's Eleven

    ★★★★½

Seen this quite a few times and have always loved it a lot. Every time I re watch I seem to pick up small details I haven't noticed from the previous watch which is always enjoyable. I have seen certain chunks of the next two in this trilogy but I will re watch them soon as they look decent enough and I just love this enough to finally finish the other two.

  • Get Out

    Get Out

    ★★★★½

WOOOOOAAAHHH this was crazy. Was so hesitant to watch it because I hate horror but this wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. The suspense is what is amazing and the whole thing ties together so nicely. Great to see Daniel Kaluuya shelling it in the US film industry, if you didn't know before this that he was from London then you would have thought he was American with the incredible accent he used! Glad I have finally…

  • In Bruges

    In Bruges

    ★★★★½

This is effectively Voldemort vs Mad Eyed Moody with Fleur Delacour spectating. Super good film that you should watch but a bit dark looool.

  • Shaun of the Dead

    Shaun of the Dead

    ★★★★½

Only one left for me to complete in the Cornetto trilogy! Didn't enjoy this as much as Hot Fuzz but I'm not going to act like this isn't still amazing and Edgar Wright is such a fun director to watch. Watching films at the moment is becoming addicting but constantly entertaining because there is this and so many other good moving pictures on the market!

  • The Nice Guys

    The Nice Guys

    ★★★★½

Debating whether to give it a 5/5 or not and just decided to conclude on a 4.5. This was epic, a film that isn't hard to watch with great comedy and action with great acting as well. This is a whole new side of Gosling compared to his romance films in La La Land and Crazy Stupid Love. This is something I see myself getting on DVD as soon as I can and I think in the days coming, I…
