"You were the one who was in me, and I was the one who was in you."
Taki and Mitsuha don't know each other and live far apart but intermittently switch bodies with each other and things start to occur. Other than that the less you know the better but this is an anime, YA, romance, adventure with a little bit of sci-fi.
The animation of landscapes, food and natural elements is what I enjoyed most, along with a very interesting and suspenseful story. At times I had trouble identifying with the characters and wish that the film got to the point a little earlier than 50 minutes in however. In addition, there were two song choices that in my opinion were so bad that they hindered my ability to enjoy two important scenes.
That said, this is not one of my favorite genres and I would still recommend to anyone, so I guess that's saying something.
