Jules’s review published on Letterboxd:
I loved this movie to bits.
It has so much heart and soul, it's so funny but also so touching.
I love the idea of looking at such a horrible event as the Holocaust from the pov of a child. It shows how impressionable children's minds can be and how dangerous can be when education becomes a doctrine, a training for dogs.
Damn Taika Waititi you've done it again.
(The opening sequence where I Wanna Hold Your Hand plays in the background while there's images of Nazi youth resembling the crazy behaviour of Beatlemaniacs??? CINEMÀ)
