greta gerwig and saoirse ronan together have perfected the art of making me cry.
ive loved this story since i was 13, and all these last six years i’ve prayed to the church of josephine march. shes just like me, and saoirse brought her to life in a way that made me feel more seen than ever before; like i can get my happy ending too. she was born to play this role, fierce and honest and raw. just as timothee chalamet and all of his boyish charm was born to play laurie, and florence pugh is destined to steal even more scenes than she did here in her career which i’m DYING to see.
i cried 3 times. dad cried 6. they GOT US.
