while kinda messy and hard to follow at times, as soon as i heard i like that by janelle monae in the introductory scene, i knew this was gonna end of being one of my favorite horror movies. jordan peele really is redefining, and dare i say SAVING horror. no amount of cheap jumpscare conjuring annabelle bullshit can frighten me as much as a completely disturbing, breathy-voiced dopple-lupita can. the score was something i enjoyed a LOT, especially the opening credit song mirroring get out’s in a way. also, best soundtrack i heard in a horror movie, handa down. obsessed with the name zora now. lupita is coming for that best actress nom. i wanna hug winston duke.
