  finally had to watch this because it's been sitting in my queue too long

  this really was a mixed bag for me and i can't tell which way i'm sitting with this. loved gaspar's usual signature of erratic camerawork, droning score, and luscious colors, but this one was just so unbelievably gratuitous in every fucking way.... probably the most homophobic movie i have EVER seen, extremely jarring. That One Scene in the underpass was so unnecessarily long to the point…
