Julian Nunez’s review published on Letterboxd:
The first 20 minutes are real bad, like, the worst of the HALLOWEEN franchise bad. Once Alice takes the spotlight from the awful recasted Kristen it does get substantially better. But even then all we’re left with is a series of ok kills of non-characters and Alice collecting their “powers” or whatever. Idk what all that was even about, it doesn’t really make sense following the movie’s own logic but I would have been on board if they did anything cool with it, but they didn’t; alas. Really pales in comparison after watching the excellent DREAM WARRIORS. Nancy did not die for this!! The practical effects are killer tho.
