Julian Sol Jordan’s review published on Letterboxd:
Still soaking in the whole film. It's a lot to take in but I really loved it. I was thinking of watching Only God Forgives first since I couldn't find Drive on Netflix or Amazon, but luckily it was included into our IMDB membership for free. So glad I watched this first.
I really dig this style of directing. Nicholas Winding Refn has a very bold voice. The neon drenched visuals are so pleasing. That mixed with the ethereal soundtrack sealed the deal for me. I also wasn't expecting it to be leaning in the arthouse genre. Really took me by surprise. It definitely deserves a re-watch soon.
