I'll admit I thought I was going to hate this, but... I didn't. I actually enjoyed it. It's very... yucky, but the way it's shown and told... yeah, it was entertaining while being gross.
I don't know the true story very well, and only read bits of it on Wikipedia after I finished watching this movie, but I was surprised to find several outrageous things to be true. Loved that bit towards the end where it said "Still a true story". Lol.
The acting was very, very good, and the comedic aspect of it, too. It was all SO STUPID though. I get it, I get it, that's the point... but... fuck.
I was a bit surprised when they said they were sentenced to death. "Death?!" The fact that many states in USA still have the death penalty was a bit surprising to me, and thinking back about it, I don't know why I was so surprised. I mean, yes, these guys killed people, and I get there are other criminals that do WAY WORSE things and deserve it... But... damn. It's such an easy way out too. Well, they do spend so many years on death row, so they do suffer... Anyway, I'm rambling now.
