millionth rewatch but still love it

  • Breathless

I was honestly a bit disappointed. I still enjoyed watching but was underwhelmed by the plot and the unlikable characters. Of course Breathless has been incredibly influential and it’s importance in film history is clear. There is lots to appreciate including  the score and the unique jump cut editing which was completely revolutionary. After reading the trivia it seems like Jean Luc Godard has a really interesting approach to filmmaking which I enjoyed reading about.
