millionth rewatch but still love it
I was honestly a bit disappointed. I still enjoyed watching but was underwhelmed by the plot and the unlikable characters. Of course Breathless has been incredibly influential and it’s importance in film history is clear. There is lots to appreciate including the score and the unique jump cut editing which was completely revolutionary. After reading the trivia it seems like Jean Luc Godard has a really interesting approach to filmmaking which I enjoyed reading about.

Sunset Boulevard was so amazing and I loved every minute but especially the ending and the scenes leading up to it. It is very well written, from the snappy back and forth dialogue to the famous one liners. It is definitely up there…
