Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 - 1983
How the hell did the concept of this film come about from the amazing original flick? Whatever, this film holds up pretty well, but I'm not totally sold on its links with the original.
If TCM was a solid 7 on the crazy scale, this ramps it up to solid 10. We still get the same level of chainsaw-wielding goodness, but also a real look into the inner working of the Sawyer family. Yep, they're mental.
It can all sometimes feel just a little OTT and the film cries out for having the reins pulled in on occasion. That being said, the final 10 minutes of this is a clusterfuck of trashy 80s goodness.
