The Goonies has been my favorite film for a few years now and it always brings me so much joy watching it.
Nothing could compare to seeing it on a theater screen though. I was amazed at every little detail, those I had already noticed and those I hadn't (yes, even after 7 times).
This film is impossible to describe. It might be silly and very childish but it makes you go through so many emotions and you actually care…
Okay so I have to say, the races scenes were incredibly well done. The cuts and the sound were mixed together perfectly.
I'm a big fan of Niki Lauda, so even though I enjoyed the film, some parts were very hard for me to watch (crash, hospital, etc...). It's even embarassing to say that I was on the verge of a panic attack during the crash and was still shaking from it hours after finishing the film. It's a shame…
Wow ! I thought being forced to watch this in a french dubbed version would ruin the experience but not at all.
Apart from the romance parts, I loved this so much. The flying scenes were always amazing to watch and it's like you could feel all the camera movements.
I cried at least 3 times (when I didn't cry at all during the original).
