Andrew Jupin’s review published on Letterboxd:
Gorgeously shot and performed, Learn to Swim turned out to be one of my fave kinds of TIFF viewing experiences: going in absolutely cold to a film and having it be totally great. Nothing better than a festival surprise, and this film delivers. I could watch this on mute for the cinematography alone, but then I’d miss out on all the incredible music played throughout the entire thing.
Thomas Antony Olajide, Emma Ferreira are electric, and the supporting cast is top to bottom great.
What a solid feature debut from Thyrone Tommy.
