“Were I not completely aware of my duty to my family and to my country, I would not have come back tonight… or indeed ever again.”

Man… they don’t make em like this anymore…
A genuinely beautiful romantic comedy that one can really never get tired of. This film puts a giant smile on my face throughout every time I watch. Unforgettable performances from both Hepburn and Gregory Peck, who have amazing chemistry…

“Do not go gentle into that good night. Old age should burn and rave at close of day. Rage, rage against the dying of the light.”

By far my favorite movie of all time. Man this just seems to get more entertaining with every watch and I pick up on something I previously hadn’t as well. It’s 3 hours of beautiful storytelling, cinematography, and dialogue. I am still marveled at how everything comes together in the tesseract. Time is relative.

Is there possibly anything I can say that hasn’t been said already? so i’ll keep it brief. It’s beautiful. HDS gave everything one can ask for in a performance and it felt so real which added to the authenticity. The final 40 minutes are straight perfection with one of the most emotional and hypnotic scenes in cinema. Class.

A technical marvel/visually stunning with moments of surrealism, just my type of film. Completely mesmerizing, from the way this film is shot, to the performances, to the incredible atmosphere created. The last 20 minutes are fantastic and the best part of the film imo. I love that part of it is left to the interpretation of the viewer.
