They say that patience comes to those who wait. I waited what felt like an eternity to watch Raven Jackson's debut, which was praised heavily at festivals. After the time passed, i finally realised after the film that it's about patience. Waiting for something is tough but necessary for the human condition

All Dirt Roads Taste Of Salt is rooted in humanity, poetically gliding through life. It's one of the quietest films i've ever seen but that's what makes it…

"If you leave something behind, you gain something too"

It's lines like this that proves the strength of Celine Song as a storyteller. This entire experience was just patient and kind. There's not a lot of films like this

I sing my praises about this too much but I don't regret a single thing because I truly believe this is one of the most gentle and warm films to ever exist

I can't believe it has taken me this long to watch this. I feel immense shame as a film fan for not getting to this earlier because WOW

It's cliche to say but this is an all timer. The idea of freedom being used in clever ways, the optimistic sense of power that Andy and Red have to find their solace. Everything is just so sound

The scene in the rain...are you kidding me? A filmmaking triumph. I'm mad at myself for ignoring this all these years

The sheer scale of these films is something that needs to be seen to believe. I'm kind of unsure what to say about it that hasn't already been said

Don't let the length deter you, you barely feel it as the pacing is unreal

I have no idea why this exists or why they thought that this was a good idea but all i know is that it felt like i was watching a film edited by the MrBeast team

I'm so tired now, my brain needs a rest
