There's something so simple about this film that makes it magical. Like a hundred other films of the time, Mad Max deals with fast cars, roving gangs, and the limitations of the law. Where Mad Max gets the upper hand on the others is primarily in its pulse pounding cinematography and the magnetic Mel Gibson. A western of the postmodern sort, transplanting it to the lawless wasteland of deteriorating society. Certainly a film that I appreciate more as I grow older.

Rapsittie Street Kids: Believe in Santa 2002
There's a lot to like about this made for TV freakshow. From the awful and frankly inconsistent animation, to the strange textures that cover ever piece of fabric, this video is an assault on the eyes that I couldn't look away from. The story is pretty standard Christmas Santa stuff but layered on top of that is the funniest animation I've seen since Xavier. Couldn't recommend it more as a So Bad it's Good Flick.

Uncanny Valley 2021
The growing sense that the world is on the brink of collapse, exponentially increased every year since the departure of the Heaven's Gate Cult, synthesized in art video. Well constructed and with some solid visuals.
