The combination of earthy realism and high fantasy makes this feel so close to how this story must have been told originally. It has you both judge the characters from a modern vantage, and at the same time play all the monstrousness as if it’s the most normal thing in the world. Also; cracking action and visuals. Pretty stellar stuff.
