Twin Peaks The Return
Twin Peaks is the best tv show I've ever seen - and its a masterpiece. It's slow and methodical, it's random and abrasive, it's shocking, deafening, truly heartbreaking and exceedingly desensitizing. It's perfect in all of its constant imperfections, including but not limited to a second season which is, for the most part, dreadful.
Somehow, this strangely enchanting universe has a hold of you from the moment Dale Cooper enters Twin Peaks and ponders out loud…

I'm sorry, I don't care if it makes more sense on second watch (not the sign of a well structured film imo), i'm not going to pay money to have Chris insult my intelligence with that screenplay again. I swear to god guys, if this wasn't written by Nolan we'd all be taking the piss out of it.
