Low budget doesn’t mean low effort
Watching this on the big screen with two of my best friends was an amazing experience. Screenland Armour was a great venue and I’m so happy I got to be there.
Phantasm made me. It’s that simple. Without this film I would’ve never gotten into the horror genre as a whole. I had a fearful fascination with the genre but was too chickenshit to actually sit down and watch horror films. And when I did it turned out poorly.
Looks like we’ve finally gotten a official Letterboxd page for this nasty little film. Hopefully that means I won’t have to reupload this review for a fourth time.

Could’ve used more decomposing corpse.
I loved the decomposing corpse. It was brutal and sad and I couldn’t tear my eyes away when it was on screen.
The problem is that’s just a random insert after every segment in the film. The actual body (if you will) of the movie is much less captivating.
