i watch a ton of movies and i use this as a sort of diary. i sometimes write reviews, and i only log fiction or non-fiction feature films :)
it’s heartbreaking to see that this was mostly based on columbine. as a non american, school shootings are unimaginable. the gut wrenching sensation of having to go through something like this is impossible to fathom. and it’s simply not fair that thousands of students have to go through what’s unimaginable and unfathomable for me and see barely any changes in laws or regulations.
my opinion on this topic is absolutely worthless compared to those who fear this every day or…
loved this, and especially andrea riseborough’s performance. although her campaign was… shady, she definitely deserved that nomination.
an ok movie if not for her stand-out performance. really, really touching and probably the best of the year.
don't know why everyone is shitting on her nomination instead of michelle williams or ana de armas? danielle deadwyler could have easily gotten in instead of either of them.
